Details
To enhance its international presence in drug enforcement, the Korean National Police Agency has co-hosted the Drug Law Enforcement Conference with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) since 2019. The conference provides technical and legal support and training, and serves as a platform to reaffirm the global commitment to combating drug-related crimes. Held at the Westin Josun Busan and the APEC Nurimaru House, the event brought together representatives from 13 countries—including South Korea, Japan, and China—to strengthen cooperation with foreign law enforcement agencies in addressing crimes involving illicit drugs.
