Under the Official Development Assistance (ODA) initiative aimed at supporting biopharmaceutical evaluation and licensing in the Western Pacific region, a 5-day specialized training program was successfully held to boost global biopharmaceutical quality control capacity. The training welcomed quality control officers for vaccines and plasma-derived products from regulatory bodies in 10 partner nations: Nigeria, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Vietnam, UAE, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand and Philippines. During the 5-day itinerary spanning Osong, Andong, and Hwasun, trainees visited major institutional and industrial sites—the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), SK Plasma L HOUSE & Vaccine Center, and the Vaccine Safety Technical Center.
